Roll up your sleeves and try your hand at ceramics. This unique opportunity to learn from masters of the craft of pottery design and glazing, and the resources of locally-based, Wesleyan Potters, are available to you for this first ever, WILL day-time class.

In this five week, day-time course, students will be introduced to the ancient art of ceramics. The studios and resources of Wesleyan Potters—a non-profit craft center with no affiliation to the University—will be available for participants in this fun, educational class. Under the direction of studio manager, Emily Albee, emphasis will be placed on learning to throw on the wheel, surface decoration, and glazing. Class time will also be spent on the history of ceramics and clay chemistry. In addition to structured studio instruction, additional bench time is provided for students wanting to fine-tune their creations.
